You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Testing, Remediation, and Audit Support Division of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.

Duties

You will assist the director in planning, controlling, directing and supervising the total operation to effectively and economically perform the assigned mission.. You will be responsible for the coordination, IT planning, analysis, systems design and development efforts covering systems and procedures and data bases for weapons systems equipment. You will establish, evaluate, and change the structure of subordinate organizations and delegate authority and responsibilities. You will provide consultation and advice on IT and business systems related issues, problems and projects.

Qualifications

I have one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading and/or supervising Supply Management Specialist work and applying a mastery level knowledge of NAVSUP Strategic Plan, Goals and Objectives, supply program management, and supply policy requirements to function as a technical authority in supply chain management policies and procedures relating to the naval logistics mission and supply operations of shore and afloat activities. I apply a knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain and automated supply information systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Single Supply Solution (SSS) to develop and promote improvements to procedures pertaining to the efficiency and effectives of Navy ERP. Specialized experience includes: 1) Establishes plans of action and milestones for the execution of inventory strategies and policies, evaluation of current and proposed process improvements, identification of new and improved applications and planning for long range efficiency enhancements; 2) Ensures the smooth and orderly and efficient implementation of process, policy, procedures and business rules while ensuring process compliance and appropriate reporting; 3) Assists and makes recommendations in the development of innovative strategies and procedures to overcome process problems and to evaluate, maintain and improve process performance; 4) Apply standard Navy supply policy, procedures and business process to implementation procedures and business policies incorporated into Navy-ERP, Single Supply Solutions (SSS), and legacy IT. This includes understanding processing functions such as the following: Planning, Allowancing, Procurement/Material Management, Repairable, Order fulfillment, and Master Data used to support Supply Chain and Navy ERP business processes; and 5) Communicate effectively to both internal and external senior management, both orally and in writing.
