You will serve as SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST in the International Programs Directorate of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT providing support and coordination to the NAVSUP FIAR team for all International Programs audit engagements.

Duties

You will review and interpret DoD and Navy policies and initiates, develops, and recommends International Programs policies and procedures. You will develop, implement, and monitor the execution of applicable Navy MISIL Modernization-related SCP policies. You will analyze DoD and Navy policy, and implement policy, guidance, and procedures for the overall management and control of assigned functional areas in applicable NAVSUP SCP publications. You will provide valid guidance to other employees on International Programs, Security Cooperation, and system logistics and financial policies and issues. You will negotiate and coordinate with representatives of other organizations concerning sensitive and complex MISIL Modernization issues and their relationships to other logistics and financial management functions, processes, and organizations.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area level 03 within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Integrating existing and proposed supply and financial logistics operation procedures and policies; 2. Analyzing complex programs and major problems associated with logistics and financial systems; 3. Developing official correspondence and reports on a variety of policy issues; 4. Evaluating responses to inquiries, audits, and inspections concerning program resource utilization; 5. Monitoring compliance of agreements and validity of charges within the enhanced system of record.
