The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) is seeking a Workforce Support Specialist to serve in our Human Capital Office (HCO). Duties
As a Workforce Support Specialist (Administrative Assistant) at the NH-0301-2 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Providing support in Talent Operations, which involves a wide range of human resources work, including supporting the coordination, development, analysis of human resources and manpower management programs.
Supporting programs to include recruitment and retention, onboarding, classification, compliance, records management, Acq Demo activities, and employment recognition programs.
Determining organizational and individual talent learning and development needs; development of talent management programs and policies; work-life programs, employee experience, Acq Demo activities, and diversity programs.
Gathering, verifying and analyzing information, identifying issues, and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or project.
Utilizing tools and techniques of the specialized field (e.g. analytical methods, financial systems, data collection methods, automated applications, etc) to interpret, select, adapt and apply many guidelines, precedents, principles, and practices, which relate to the administrative specialty area.

Qualifications
To be considered for a Recent Graduate appointment you must meet ONE of the following requirements:
1. A person who has completed all requirements for a bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree from an accredited qualifying educational institution not more than two years before the date of the appointment.
OR
2. A person who has completed a period of obligated service in a uniformed service of more than four years, such term means a person who was awarded a degree not more than four years before the date of the appointment.
OR
3. A person scheduled to graduate from an accredited program of study leading to a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree within 90 days from the closing date of this announcement.
