You will serve as a SPACE CELL ANALYST in the Intelligence and Information Warfare Division of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as subject matter expert on all matters involving integration of space capabilities in support of maritime operations.
You will assist with development of doctrine and guidance, inform capability development, and train personnel pursuing space cadre qualification.
You will process, validate, and respond to requests from external government and private space agencies for Navy support with telemetry tracking during launch and re-entry events.
You will provide or coordinate support to other naval components or Combatant Commands requiring assistance with space related exercises or events involving maritime forces.
You will collaborate with Navy Information Warfare Development Command to prioritize, develop, and update space related doctrine for use in the fleet.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and overtime to meet mission requirements
- Successful completion of a Counter-Intelligence scope polygraph is required on a recurring basis.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:.
Integrating space support into maritime operations.
Communicating and coordinating with personnel from other services and from different operational backgrounds.
Identifying and using space tools to provide accurate and timely analysis.
Incorporating space-related intelligence, communication, cyber, spectrum, environmental and information operations efforts and products into operational planning/tasking.
