Duties

You will coordinate technical and/or procedural planning discussions between ECH II customer representatives and commercial service provider(s). You will maintain relationships between contractor and customers serving as a dedicated technical representative ensuring customer service and business expectations are satisfied in an organized manner. You will report and escalate operational issues and provide status updates through issue resolution. You will monitor and report on the status and progress of ongoing customer issues, checking on status of work in progress and review completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and have been met.

Qualifications

Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Assessing situations complicated by conflicting or insufficient data which must be analyzed. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing group and individual training to others on technical issues and new customer support technologies to ensure that customer support services are provided effectively and responsively. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Working directly with customer organizations to customize services to meet specific customer requirements. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Resolving issues or operating problems by influencing or persuading people who are working toward mutual goals. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as: *Experience applying advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivering of services throughout the agency. *Experience utilizing Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) associated IT networks to apply network systems management methods including end-to-end systems performance monitoring sufficient enough to enhance highly efficient network systems, i.e., Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), Enterprise Tools (NET), Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS), and Active Directory. *Experience working with organizational network architectures, infrastructures, topologies, and protocols sufficient to support IT service operations in a high op-tempo environment. *Experience applying methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving systems to solve complex problems and provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers. This position is within the Work Category TECHNICIAN & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-2210-12.
