About the Position: This positoin serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. security assistance. USASAC provides materiel, training, education, and other services to help our allies strengthen their defensive capabilities, deter aggression, achieve regional stability, and promote democratic values.

Duties

Integrate country team efforts for assigned projects in supply, maintenance, and /or transportation to overcome problems. Conduct management reviews for designated country and make recommended actions based upon country needs. Maintain surveillance over data maintained in the multi-command databases to ensure accurate case execution. Present briefings locally, to higher headquarters, or to foreign dignitaries on case management actions.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Percentage of time to be spent Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is 25%.
• The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position's SCW certification level.
