You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT in the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training of CNATT UNIT NORFOLK.
Duties
You will compose and edit outgoing correspondence to ensure correct content, grammar, and format.
You will arrange travel for staff members using an automated travel system.
You will create new electronic file systems to support an organization.
You will advise senior management on administrative procedures and programs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing computer systems such as Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Defense Travel System (DTS) and other Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) systems; 2) Safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) while coordinating, preparing and verifying that personnel documents and information is relayed to supporting organizations according to policies and standards; 3) Utilizing automated software to produce reports, correspondence and other written documents in draft form; 4) Providing a full range of clerical, administrative and customer service support for Staff, Students, and Higher Echelon personnel; and 5) Establishing and maintaining local files, notebooks, and automated records.
