You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the FLIGHT TRAINING SUPPORT DIVISION of CNATRA.

Duties

You will supervise, manage and coordinate the operational application training of the Naval Air Training Command (NATRACOM) Training Management Systems You will coordinate program tasks that are directly related to the NATRACOM Management Systems and other independent related programs. You will provide technical support to the training the Wing/Squadrons that utilize the Training Management System in the form of training and technical assistance. You will assist in the development of the Training Management System technical documentation, reports and presentations. You will provide technical and administrative direction of an aligned, engaged and high performing team. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating an aviation training program (i.g., Training-Sierra Hotel Aviation Readiness Programs, Training Integration Management Systems) to identify problems and recommend solutions for the improvement of Naval Aviation Training. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
