You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST at NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER. This position is as an analyst in the NAVSUP Navy ERP Business Office.
Duties
You will provide IT Logistics and supply system guidance in the procedural, technical, and planning aspects of automated systems and policy; and practices pertaining to new and/or improved business processes.
You will review contractor and government developed solutions to ensure accuracy, and compliance with the applicable regulatory and DOD/Navy/NAVSUP directives and approved strategic plans and goals.
You will provide functional/technical input for the development/modification of design specifications as well as final review/approval, develop system test plans and performs functional test execution.
You will serve as primary Point of Contact (POC) for user questions for the Interface and Production Monitoring Team.
You will lead team in identifying requirements, business process gaps, and work to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer, stakeholders proposing technical alternative.
You will coordinate across all functional teams to ensure the IT Supply Solution is both effective and compatible with internal and external system procedures.
You will manage projects and lead functional SME’s, other team members, and mission partners in collaboration of a project, task and providing a Navy IT Supply Solution for customer business requirements.
You will serve as a key advisor and consultant to the Enterprise Business Office (EBO) Department Director on matters regarding project policy, strategies, procedures and projects.
You will define opportunities for new or improved business process using the Navy IT Supply Solution.
You will provide oral and written communication to senior leadership, customers, colleagues, team members on supply solutions for mission partners.
You will create or modify technical documentation such as business requirements documents, training documents, Standard Operating Procedures and / or user stories that may be used to document a business process for a Navy IT Supply Solution.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Analyzing and solving Supply and Supply Chain problems to ensure the successful maintenance and sustainment of supply functions in a DoD or DoN IT Supply System, in response to business requirements, risks, and cost;
2) Assisting with identification of the required system changes resulting from new process, procedure, or policy requirements in the process area;
3) Providing IT Logistics and supply system guidance in the procedural, technical, and planning aspects of automated systems and policy; and practices pertaining to new and/or improved business processes;
4) Developing, delivering and supporting business process guidance and direction to ensure the successful implementation of supply projects for a Supply System utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT solution;
5) Providing customer support to explain how the system operates, and is designed, and provides customer training in principles,capabilities, navigation, and performing business transactions.
