Duties
You will provide calibration of RF equipment (with contractor support) and in the inventory control of all laboratory assets and bench/rack buildup.
You will troubleshoot Radio Frequency cables, network analyzer usages, and jammer load set management.
You will provide physical security duties for all Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories while ensuring all personnel practice, have knowledge of and know where to find all SOP’s emergency response plans, and marking guides.
You will determine inventory and functionality of all the components related to the AMES III simulator system.
You will create and maintain a process to track inventory and functionality of all components.
You will perform studies concerning the feasibility, suitability and operational utility of systems and system concept.
You will prepare project plans, schedules and detailed phases of technical work concerning Electonic Warfare.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 & GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of a wide range of technical engineering methods, principles, requirements, work techniques, and practices of an area of specialization, and skill in applying standardized, analytical, and evaluative methods and techniques; 2) Advising on and/or resolving difficult but well-precedented, factual, procedural, and/or recurring issues; 3) Performing installation, maintenance, operation, and testing duties; and 4) Maintaining one-of-a-kind equipment, custom equipment, developmental equipment, or equipment which is continually being modified and adapted and does not usually have adequate documentation
GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge and application of specialized rules, procedures, or operations in engineering methods and practices sufficient to perform tests on electrical insulating materials to determine the effects of heat, high voltage, and other ambient conditions; 2) Determining conditioning cycle to which the rest specimens will be subjected (e.g., temperature range and length of time at each temperature range); 3) Modifying test equipment to permit automatic cycling at preset rates to resolve operational problems not fully covered by precedents; and 4) Making recommendations based on preliminary data interpretation and test results.
