You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Cyber Engineering and Digital Transformation Directorate of NAVSEA HQ.
Duties
You will serve as an expert financial management specialist responsible to manage and execute fiscal, financial management, accounting, and/or budgetary support for the PMO 555 program budget.
You will monitor and maintain overall financial performance to ensure all obligations and expenditures, funding documents and spend plans are effectively and efficiently executed to meet mission requirements.
You will consult with program managers to develop program financial requirements and resolve any necessary issues in executing their requirements.
You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple types of funding, (i.e., O/M,N; OP,N; MILCON) across multiple SYSCOMs.
You will identify, interpret and develop technical, programmatic and financial requirements to determine how to acquire those requirements.
You will serve as an expert for advising on the integration of financial and/or budgeting systems with assigned programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading fiscal, financial management, accounting, and/or budgetary efforts to maintain the overall financial performance of obligations and expenditures to ensure funding documents and plans are executed and meet mission requirements.
