You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Mangement Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will provide life cycle support for supply and logistics systems, processes, and interfaces.
You conduct studies of supply operations to determine proper use of current or improved supply methods or approved procedures.
You will write and implement procedures and recommend enhancements to internal and external systems, applications, interfaces, and functional processes.
You will provide technical advice, guidance, and assistance on supply operations to agency personnel.
You will perform various studies to determine efficiency of programs and procedures involved in supply support efforts.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an expert knowledge of all Navy ERP functional areas including planning, order fulfillment, allowance and outfitting, and procurement to assist in internal audit reviews. I also have knowledge in supply chain management, supply operations management practices, and business process analysis methodologies, concepts, and principles to recommend improvements in supply program operations and objectives. Examples of specialized experience must include: 1) Utilizing systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to develop analytical methodologies that apply data mining, statistical, and other analytical techniques; 2) Analyzing statistical outputs from various databases to determine if performance objectives have been met; 3) Researching, analyzing, extracting, summarizing, and identifying business trends and issues; 4) Preparing and evaluating project studies and developing recommendations for future supply program plans; 5) Applying new theories, concepts, and /or new developments to supply problems outside of normal or accepted supply methods, techniques, or procedures
