About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Al. The geography and climate are ideal for year-round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available.
Duties
Review and coordinate all support requirements (i.e., troops, weapons, equipment, transportation, and training facility) in support of the organization.
Ensure all resource requirements have been planned, coordinated, and approved. Maintains constant coordination with 5-3 Operations office ensuring all coordination is in place for training requirements.

Regularly communicates with echelons one down and one to two up, regarding training support requirements, as they pertain to land usage and ammunition resourcing.
Determine requirements for support troops, tactical vehicles, weapons, communications, sound, visual and special equipment, as well as specialized equipment.
Utilize Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) access and management for the unit is a large aspect of that position as is the coordination between us as a battalion and FMGA Range Division.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing administrative functions in support of student training and/or instructing such as, managing training schedules, ensuring resource requirements have been coordinated, assisting with training requirements, preparing data, manpower and/or training reports; Utilizing all automated systems in Microsoft 365 to perform data entry. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Communication, Adult Learning, or Education.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond one year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
