About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, RM Operational Support, Arlington, VA.
About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.
Duties
Analyze historical and present expenditures to justify expenditures of funds.
Review budget estimates to ensure availability of resources and to identify potential funding problems.
Interpret and provide advice on budget obligation and execution.

- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated. Must have certificate within 24 months of hire.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conduct and analyze data from audit reports using systems such as: General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Resource Management Online (RMOL); review and validate reports from financial and budgetary accounting systems; Develop annual budget and spend plans to meet mission requirements; make necessary purchases, approve, and review expenditures related to mission requirements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
