The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Wing Military Programs, Training, and Inspections Manager for the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing. Responsible for a wide-range of management advisory services regarding Military Personnel Programs, training and inspections across the globe consisting of six geographically separated ISR Groups and 23 subordinate squadrons.
Duties
Identifies and analyzes key issues, develops strategies, and advises Commander and senior leadership on recommended courses of action related to the Wing Military Personnel Program.
Advises Wing Commander, Wing Staff, commanders, supervisors, and managers on officer and enlisted personnel issues, including those involving organizations that have a wide-range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions, some with high-grades and technical positions in rapidly changing fields.
Plans, organizes, and manages a wide range of complex activities involved in the Wing Training Inspection Program.
Represents 480 ISRW with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the Specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Position.
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and AF policies, instructions, and regulations directing the management of officer and enlisted force, inspections, and wing and unit training programs. Knowledge in personnel policy in order to analyze and prioritize the organization's staffing requirements as they relate to the mission in support of organization's strategic plans and objectives. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas.
Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and AF policies, instructions, and regulations directing the management of officer and enlisted force, inspections, and wing and unit training programs.
Skill in analyzing, planning, and adjusting work operations to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources: and in analyzing reports to identify relevant issues, identify potential trends, and draw sound conclusions to make appropriate recommendations.
Skill in utilizing technological tools such as the IGEMS and MICT to help assess the overall military personnel and training programs and prepares written reports, assessments, reviews, and inspection reports.
Ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate with tact, creativity, and resourcefulness, both orally and in writing, while protecting classified information.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
