About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Ground Combat Support R&S Directorate. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.
Duties
Assigns work, provides technical advice and guidance, reviews work, evaluates quality, and provides training to team members in the field of provisioning.
Serve as a team leader, assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of provisioning team members.
Develop contract scopes of work for provisioning support from concept, through production, and in sustainment.
Maintain complex logistics support policies, procedures, and directives to promote improvement in provisioning procedures.
Provides critical support and guidance to team members and functional managers for Provisioning, Item Introduction, Life Cycle Logistics Management databases and non-standardized systems to ensure that specialized functional activities are performed.
Assist contractors with questions relative to Provisioning and Item Introduction requirements and delivery to weapon system teams.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
Qualifications
Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.
Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 year, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years. Employees on temporary appointments will be separated once the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) Date is reached.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes chairing provisioning conferences to determine initial provisioning requirements; building Provisioning Bills of Material; developing, directing, or executing the provisioning related scope of work; and responding to organizational taskers, or program office requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
