Duties

Assigns work, provides technical advice and guidance, reviews work, evaluates quality, and provides training to team members in the field of provisioning. Serve as a team leader, assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of provisioning team members. Develop contract scopes of work for provisioning support from concept, through production, and in sustainment. Maintain complex logistics support policies, procedures, and directives to promote improvement in provisioning procedures. Provides critical support and guidance to team members and functional managers for Provisioning, Item Introduction, Life Cycle Logistics Management databases and non-standardized systems to ensure that specialized functional activities are performed. Assist contractors with questions relative to Provisioning and Item Introduction requirements and delivery to weapon system teams.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Qualifications

Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 year, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years. Employees on temporary appointments will be separated once the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) Date is reached.
