This position is located in Refugee, Asylum and International Operations, Asylum Division, Miami Asylum Office. As an Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will serves as an expert advisor to management on major administrative programs requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess complex management and program processes and systems.

Duties

Supervise a group of administrative employees and is responsible for assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations. Plan the work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for the completion of work assign work to subordinates based on priorities, and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Work with Senior Leadership or subject matter experts at higher grade level to develop priorities, milestones, and deadlines. Support human resources management by writing position analysis, recruiting candidates, interviewing and/or recommending applicants for selections, , including scheduled interviews and pre- employment communication with selectees. Ensure that the office complies with standards of operation in the various program management areas, including human resources, travel, financial, procurement, health and safety, property, labor and employee relations and performance management. Analyzes, combines, and consolidates budget estimates into a budget document that reflects the balanced, multi-year funding needs of the organization.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/22/2023. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/22/2023. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Using concepts, principles, regulations, and policies related to human resource management sufficient to plan, organize, evaluate and improve service and processes; Directing the resolution of issues affecting and impacting administrative operations, customer service, and technical subjects in a variety of functions related to human resources, operations support, and financial management; Managing work load of department by adjusting assignments as priorities change.
