DCSA's Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Directorate Cyber Mission Center (CMC) is seeking an experienced Cyber Counterintelligence Analyst to conduct research and analysis to identify, assess, and deter threats to cleared industry and academia, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. This is an excellent opportunity for those with expertise in finished intelligence production in accordance with Intelligence Community standards and directives.
Duties
As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Analyze cyber information to identify threats, share threat information, and enable deterrence and mitigation.
- Identify, research and validate indicators of compromise and counterintelligence-related cyber threat activities to establish attribution and evaluate the level of threat posed.
- Implement Intelligence Community (IC) standards to the analysis of all-source intelligence on current and emerging cyber threats.
- Produce intelligence assessments, cyber threat analysis reports, and cyber threat advisories using analytic tradecraft and tools to identify and evaluate enduring and emerging threats.
- Conduct all-source research and analysis to identify and assess adversary intentions and capabilities to penetrate and exploit US networks and communications infrastructures.
- Enhance counterintelligence-related cyber threat and vulnerability awareness among internal and external consumers.
- Represent DCSA at cyber/counterintelligence working groups and analytical exchanges.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Expert knowledge and experience in the field of cyber counterintelligence (CI) threat analysis, and in depth research, compilation, and analysis of a wide range of complex and sensitive information to determine cyber and Foreign Intelligence Entity threats to US interests. Expert experience in cyber and counterintelligence-focused intelligence analysis, reporting, and finished intelligence production is essential for this position.
