Duties

You will maintain multiple calendars including de-conflicting calendars and proactively obtaining relevant information. You will review or compose all incoming and outgoing documents/correspondence to ensure completeness of content, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format correspondence. You will communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, format and effective presentation of information. You will create all travel arrangements in Defense Travel System for both foreign and domestic travel using the Joint Travel Regulations You will exercise independent judgment in dealing with high-level leaders internal and external to the organization.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/6 grade level or DG-3 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing or composing all incoming and outgoing documents/correspondence to ensure completeness of content, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format correspondence; 2) Maintaining multiple calendars including de-conflicting calendars and proactively obtaining relevant information; 3) Communicating clearly and effectively both orally and in writing ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, format and effective presentation of information; 4) Creating all travel arrangements in Defense Travel System for both foreign and domestic travel using the Joint Travel Regulations; and 5) Exercising independent judgment in dealing with high-level leaders internal and external to the organization.
