About the Position: Serves as a Training Administrator (Special Operations) for the Joint Activities Command at Fort Liberty, NC.

Duties

Assist in ensuring ensure the commands operational training is properly coordinated, synchronized, and financially resourced. Provide recommendations on spend plans, POM actions, and tracks year of execution for the Division Operational Training budget. Directly manages the Joint Operational Readiness Training System for the Command aligned, assigned, and attached forces. Provide oversight of the Directorate Operational Training Budget through the approved spend plan. Liaison with appropriate headquarters to ensure plans and training are coordinated and synchronized with the Command forces and other government-agencies. Provide technical advice and assistance to the Chief and Deputy Chief of Training regarding operational training matters involving the command.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information SCI access for the duration of employment.
• IAW change 3 to AR-600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, this position is subject to a pre-employment urinalysis screening, and random testing thereafter.
• This position may require Temporary Duty (TDY) 30 days or less travel to various locations approximately 10% of the time.
