Duties
Serve as an Enterprise IT System/ Application administrator for SAP suit applications and ancillary components.
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP applications and associated components.
Installs application security patches.
Coordinate with various teams to support environment refreshes, urgent fixes such as “hot packages” and security patches that simultaneously affect the operating system, database, and applications.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Apply IT security principles, methods, and requirements sufficient to mitigate application security vulnerabilities to remain compliant with security requirements.
- Install, tune, and troubleshoot a client-server application.
- Plan/ coordinate/collaborate to support SAP application upgrades.
- Apply operating system principles and methods.
