DCSA's CI/Insider Threat Directorate is seeking a Cyber Counterintelligence Analyst. As such you will be responsible for conducting analysis to focus CI collection activities directed against foreign threat actors targeting cleared industry, DoD, and DCSA via the cyber domain.
Duties
As an Intelligence Operations Specialist working for the DCSA Cyber Mission Center you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Identify and research domains and IP addresses.
- Identify and research indicators of compromise.
- Enhance threat awareness among internal and external consumers.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify threats to US networks and communications infrastructures.
- Present findings in oral and written communications.
- Represent DCSA at cyber/counterintelligence working groups and analytical exchanges.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-07 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Practical knowledge and experience in the field of cyber counterintelligence (CI) threat analysis, investigations, operations, and in depth research, compilation, and analysis of a wide range of extremely complex and sensitive information to determine Cyber Foreign Intelligence Service threats to US interests. Expert experience in at least two of the counter intelligence functions (analysis, collections, operations, and investigations) is essential for this position. OR have a Master's or equivalent degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such as degree or LL.B. or J.D.

5. Writing: Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a brief, clear, and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material, that is appropriate for the intended audience.
Education
If substituting education for experience at the GG-09 level, you must possess a masters or equivalent degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher graduate education leading to such a degree, OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
