You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations, and program effectiveness, associated with Quality Analysis (QA) programs.
You will collect, review, evaluate, analyze, and categorize Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports data.
You will identify and investigate instances of non-compliance with established programs and make recommendations for the improvements in program performance based on analysis of the QA data.
You will facilitate Critique Investigation and prepare the associated shipyard and off- yard reports and process them through final distribution.
You will facilitate and guide the members of the Critique Team Meeting to ensure thorough Causal Analysis and effective Corrective Actions are developed.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires the ability to work onboard ships.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical methods and techniques to gather and evaluate programmatic data, identify trends or indicators of non-compliance, and present findings for the improved efficiency of naval vessel repair and maintenance.
