About the Position: This position is located with the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Arlington, Virginia About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Plan, develop, coordinate, integrate, and oversee the EO (Equal Opportunity)/EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) projects and studies. Manage the EO (Equal Opportunity)/EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) complaint processes and EO/EEO Dispute Resolution Program. Provide professional advice to senior officials, supervisors, and employees concerning resolution of complaints. Craft documents related to the EO/EEO complaint program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing EO (Equal Opportunity)/EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) strategic plans; measuring and/or evaluating results of EO/EEO program activities; resolving EO/EEO program issues; conducting EO/EEO program studies; analyzing and adjudicating EEO/EO complaints; drafting final agency decisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Assessment and Compliance ReviewCommunicationsProgram Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
