You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PLANS, POLICIES AND OPERATIONS (PP&O) of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will be directly responsible for the direction of financial operation, formulation, justification and execution of multi-year and multi-appropriations for the Marine Corps International Affairs programs.
You will provide technical guidance and direction supporting the Marine Corps Security Cooperation/Security Assistance Program coordinating preparation of Marine Corps input, budget data call submissions, mid-year review, and fiscal year closeouts.
You will participate in the budget estimate submission and mid-year review process, and is involved in DoD Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process.
You will be required to analyze and provide comments on legislative proposals for Security Assistance authorities and appropriations.
You will be responsible for procedures and systems that maintain a financial, force structure and manpower data, and statistical files for comparative analysis.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to meet DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification requirements applicable to the duties of this position.
- This position is a local remote approved position. Selectee must be located within the commute area of the command upon entry to duty.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles or standards to financial management; overseeing the execution of procedures and systems that maintain financial, force structure and manpower data, and statistical files for comparative analysis.
