Duties
Coordinates curriculum development. Develops lesson plans, course materials, criterion referenced performance tests and self-instructional packages.
Serves as an instructor for the area of staff and faculty training. Develops and presents training sessions in all courses provided by Staff and Faculty.
Serves as primary Staff and Faculty Development Division (SFDD) point of contact with training Battalions on matters relation to staff and faculty development, to include instructor training and certification.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Work involves some time in traditional classroom environment that requires standing for long periods, walking and standing on frequently, and stooping, bending and carrying light equipment or loads will be required.
- Work is performed in an office setting and in other indoor as well as outdoor locations in visiting the various training facilities. Some areas require protective gear and the observance of special safety precautions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and presenting training sessions in Special Operations Instructor Course. Experience in developing training courses using the (ADDIE) Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation model or Training and Education Development Management. Experience in developing lesson plans, course materials, criterion referenced performance tests and self-instructional packages. Experience in evaluating training performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
