This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Information Systems Division (TC), Finance & Administration Section and Administrative Management Unit.
This position(s) primary purpose is to support the Program Management Unit providing analysis and assessment of division-wide initiatives, projects, or programs with strategic, enterprise, or tactical impacts relative to the agency strategy.

As a your typical work assignments may include:
Serving as the Program Analyst and subject matter expert on program planning and execution analysis processes, reports, systems.
Establishing directorate internal policies and procedures that cross directorate and are of significance to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Directorate operations.
Determining methods to gather data, select appropriate statistical/analytical procedures, research precedents and past practices, establish sub-teams as required, and/or develop reports and recommendations that are implemented by the division.
Responsible for proposals, establishing and administering contractual arrangements and procurement proposals.
Evaluating or monitors contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
Maintaining and applying contract documentation, monitors change orders and modifications.

You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Preparing status reports and findings recommending plans to improve efficiency of processing actions and solutions to eliminate recurrence of unfavorable conditions; 2) Conducting reviews of acquisition planning documents and contracts; 3) Maintaining and applying contract documentation, monitors change orders and modifications; 4) Generating documentation for accomplishment of numerous personnel actions and assures completeness, accuracy, and adequacy of documentation.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Providing advisory assistance to management on actions to ensure management is in compliance with the administration of program requirements; 2) Preparing status reports and findings recommending plans to improve efficiency of processing actions and solutions to eliminate recurrence of unfavorable conditions; 3) Collaborating with contractor's management to resolve any misunderstandings, disagreements, or conflicts in program directives, activities, or evaluations related to evaluation and contract terms; 4) Responsible for conducting reviews of acquisition planning documents and contracts.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
