You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Technical Division of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Duties
You will serve as expert financial planner on Missile Branch UK Budget Package process and financial execution.
You will coordinate with Section Heads, Unit Heads, and Branch Leadership to define program execution of projects through the development of detailed project execution plans.
You will assist with planning, formulation and review of future budgetary requirements.
You will develop and evaluate options for collecting and analyzing the data and distilling it into management relevant reports and metrics.
You will lead and independently assess financial analysis and trains and mentors' staff on all aspects of the SSP Budget Process.
You will represent the organization's viewpoint in formal meetings, and contacts with high level program, budget, and management officials, both within and outside the command, which directly affect the accomplishment of programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH- 03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and analyzing financial programs or plans to identify and address problem areas for effective program management and operational efficiency.
