You will serve as an Industrial Material Analyst in the MRO Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will perform diverse Industrial, material processing and management engineering requirements for Navy's aircraft, Engine and Component Programs. You will monitor Repair Bill of Material (RBOM) metrics to determine forecast accuracy, effectiveness, and identify variance drivers. You will determine RBOM changes, including impacts to production workload. You will support Workload Standards (WLS), Component Unit Price (CPU), and material standards through the use of technical data incorporation.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Performing diverse industrial, material processing and management engineering requirements for Navy's aircraft, Engine and Component Programs; (2) Monitoring RBOM metrics to determine forecast accuracy, effectiveness, and identifying various drivers; (3) Determining RBOM changes, including impacts to production workload; and (4) Supporting Workload Standards (WLS), Component Unit Price (CPU), and material standards through the use of technical data incorporation. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
