Duties

Provides daily direction, oversight and technical expertise for the development and execution of initiatives for Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs as well as the associated management and resource support functions. Manages functions and operations of activities. Plans and coordinates specifications and quantities of goods to order, manpower, space, facilities, food, and services. Participates in the development of food menus and bar services. Develops pricing policy and price lists; ensures proper billings; explains and justifies charges to clients. Oversees the development, coordination, implementation and reporting of management and operational metrics. Works to ensure organizational, performance goals and measures are accomplished and align with strategic direction and operational plans. Establishes immediate and long-range goals, objectives, and plans to meet customer requirements. Ensures program authority and funding are accomplished. Coordinates all aspects of the APF and NAF operating budgets.

Qualifications

Demonstrated work experience in the following areas: Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. Working in various Child and Youth, Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs demonstrating increasingly responsible work experience across multiple program areas. Understanding of Army's Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) and community, family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels. Prior supervisory experience. *****Experience MUST be reflected on your resume***** Highly Preferred: Must possess five(5) years of experience in military MWR Food and Beverage programs and supervisory.
