About the Position: This position is located in the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence International Military Student Office, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Duties
Provide personnel, financial, and administrative services to International Military Students.
Plan, develop and execute operational and academic programs of the International Military Students program for international officers.
Direct the Field Studies Program for Maneuver Support Center of Excellence students to include logistics and budget requirements.
Prepare and coordinate Memorandums of Agreement and policy development in support of International Military Student Office operations.
Coordinate and conduct Field Studies Program events for International students.
Supervise a subordinate staff of civilian and military personnel engaged in International Military Student Office activities.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- The incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate a 15-passenger van.
- The incumbent of this position may be required to work extended work days, long hours, be able to travel on TDY and occasionally work on weekends.
- Work will require adjusted tours of duty to accommodate participation in scheduled official functions after duty hours. Work will also require stand-by or on-call tours of duty.
- Position requires the incumbent have command of the English language.
- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation (SC) position requiring DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification and must complete certification-related training requirements within the timeframe associated with the position’s SCW certification level.
- Position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Incumbent is required to submit a confidential financial disclosure report, OGE-450, upon entering position and annually thereafter.
- May be required to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical examination.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: serve as a public relations representative by developing and processing lesson plans designed to educate others on the American customs and/or culture; preparing and managing an annual budget; and organizing social and/or civic function for an International Military Student program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
