This position is located in the Office of D.C. Pensions (ODCP), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Chief Human Capital Officer, Department of the Treasury. As an Administrative Officer, you will report to the Director, ODCP and supervise staff responsible for management, operations, and program oversight. You will be managing a wide range of management areas, with particular focus on office administration for meeting program and operational goals.
Duties
As an Administrative Officer, you will:
Manage human resources processes and procedures for the Office of D.C. Pensions (ODCP).
Coordinate managerial and operational programs within the ODCP.
Regularly collaborate with high-ranking management officials, and Senior Executives throughout the Department of the Treasury.
Enable implementation of key strategic business initiatives by providing advice, developing, and communicating policies and guidance, monitoring progress, initiating course-correcting action when needed, and coordinating sequencing action across initiatives and business units.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-15: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Leading internal teams, working with external entities, developing effective acquisition strategies, managing personnel programs, coordinating facilities management actions, and leading the emergency management programs; AND
Leading information management initiatives and activities, such as enterprise content management, SharePoint site administration, data management, and records management programs; AND
Leading and coordinating hiring processes, providing advice on staffing and recruitment issues; AND
Coordinating programs and identifying and implementing necessary improvements; AND
Developing comprehensive administrative management plans to identify goals, objectives, administrative processes, and deadlines.
Time in Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
