Duties
You will serve s the Enterprise COMSEC Account Manager (CAM) supporting all SSP Networks and holds the position and title of IT Specialist and works under the supervision of the Command Information Officer (CIO).
You will manage the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) program, which is a highly specialized position requiring meticulous care in safeguarding command cryptographic material essential for secure voice and data telecommunications.
You will execute, maintain and monitor all aspects of the KMI and Communications Security (COMSEC) material management program for DIRSSP.
You will maintain and monitor the management of program plans, policies, procedures and operational processes for oversight, training, handling, storage, issuance and accountability of KMI/COMSEC operations, equipment and electronic key material.
You will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of documentation, publications, records files, reports and equipment required for secure voice and data communications.
You will be responsible for assisting with the acquisition, delivery and installation of new IT products (hardware and software), IT services and hardware warranty and software maintenance renewals.
You will develop written instructions and standard operating procedures, and monitors compliance. Incorporates self assessment and root cause analysis practices.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area COMSEC MANAGER level EXPERT within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
NH-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-3) or grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, implementing, and maintaining assigned IT secruity programs to ensure compliance and recommend improvements for an organization.
NH-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-2) or grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and implementing assigned IT programs to ensure compliance and recommend improvements for an organization.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
