About the Position: Serves as Chief, Workforce Integration Division, with overall managerial responsibility for the division with authority for full direction of the activities of the division. Is responsible for integrating the various logistical functions in planning and implementing a logistics management program and coordinating and evaluating efforts of functional specialists.
Duties
Integrate logistical functions in planning by implementing a logistics management program.
Supervise the branch's ad hoc teams in the analysis of the training integration for the unit level logistics functions of supply, maintenance, transportation and services information systems.
Participate with elements of the Department of Army (DA) Staff, US Army Materiel Command, US Army Information Systems Software Development Center Lee, and other major commands to ensure that no voids or gaps are left in the solutions development.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing direction and/or oversight of logistical automation initiatives such as Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army); managing personnel responsible for logistics systems; developing logistics program management activities supportive of acquisition life cycle process of automated systems/communication requirements.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
