About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), US Army Armor School, Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.

Duties

Provide logistical support and guidance pertaining to the acquisition and distribution of supplies, equipment, services and related functions required to support the mission. Perform all processes required to maintain a complete record of expendable and nonexpendable supplies and equipment used by the organization and serviced units. Coordinate with vendors to make sure purchases are within the specified criteria. Review manufacturer, General Services Administration (GSA) catalogs, and/or supply manuals in order to locate items to be purchased.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment physical examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical heal and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
