About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), Ft. Benning, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.
Duties
Make purchases utilizing the VISA Credit Card, for nonstandard, non-stocked items.
Ascertain by examination and observation that receipts, storage, use, disposition, and accounting records conform to procedures prescribed by applicable regulations and directives.
Determine whether records reflect transactions and changes in accountability and responsibility and that internal controls are exercised to adequately protect the interest of the government.
Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers for all non-expendable equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in operating a forklift, less than 10,000 lbs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) maintaining a complete record of supplies and equipment used by the organization; 2) providing technical supply assistance to customers; and 3) applying supply regulations to complete work tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
