This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Positoin is within the Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-8, Program Analysis & Evaluation Directorate, with focus on cloud computing, data, cyber security, and other initiatives.
Duties
Manage and oversee the data and applications leveraging the cPROBE authoritative programming data across the Army headquarters and subordinate units.
Align and manage cPROBE and related applications enterprise architecture and systems engineering activities in accordance with DoD and HQDA policies and directives, particularly cyber security requirements.
Advise the Chief of Program Budget Data Management Division (PBDMD) and other staff elements on the cPROBE data and EA programs.
Provide technical and EA subject matter expertise and systems analysis support for cPROBE IT/application/cloud computing capabilities, to include planning and implementation of application rationalization and migration planning and execution.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification, or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment in accordance with DoDD 8140.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE- 450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing Enterprise Architecture artifacts for compliance and completeness to ensure EA continues to reflect mission needs; resolving unusually complex problems associated with, major cyber security initiatives to include solution design, implementation, and sustainment; evaluating IT and application operational and resource requirements; providing technical guidance in application of existing and emerging technologies and methodologies.
