You will serve as a INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DEPARTMENT (SPB50), SECURITY MANAGEMENT DIVISION (SPB51) of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC.
Duties
You will provide assistance on all matters that pertain to the safeguarding of classified, controlled unclassified information, and sensitive information for the program environment.
You will review plans for proposed or new projects to ensure that there is adequate planning and timing for protecting of information.
You will implement day-to-day operations for information security for the program.
You will establish and maintain contacts with appropriate internal and external entities to enhance the posture of security programs for the mission.
You will establish effective professional working relationships with program personnel, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
You will lead or participate in diverse groups for resolving problems in existing security systems and programs.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band or GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating operational work methods, policies, and procedures to provide information security for facilities, material, personnel and property against insider/outsider threats.
