Duties
You will provide direct security support, both technical and administrative, to the SWFPAC Deputy Director of Security, Security Officer and Commanding Officer.
You will provide long-range focus, planning, development, and serves as a principal lead on establishment and management of emerging and existing classified programs and projects
You will formulate security policies, develops technical and management plans, establishes general security procedures to be followed and makes decisions to security matters.
You will manage the special projects activities of SWFPAC Security Department through coordination with supervisors and managers.
You will make recommendations on security policy changes to streamline the security operation and advises on the impact of new policies and changed requirements and priorities.
You will represent the SWFPAC Security Department at inter-agency meetings, conferences and workshops.
You will advise on technical security problems and challenges and makes substantive recommendations for solutions.
You will manage team activities (Such as integrated products teams), progress, and scheduling to ensure successful project performance.
You will review actual vulnerability assessment and security program performance.
You will formulate short and long-range budgetary requirements based on current and projected mission, personnel and individual/ physical security equipment requirements.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to qualify for inclusion into the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Security Fundamentals Professional (SFPC) and Special Program Security (SPSC) certification.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, Managing and executing lifecycle security programs for aerospace, nuclear weapons security, or Navy Ballistic Missiles programs to correct deficiencies and mitigate risks, ensuring missions requirements are met.
