About the Position: This is a Program Support Specialist located with U.S Army Aviation and Missile Command Deputy COS, G-4 Command INT Logistics Office of the Director at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Position may be filled as a temporary promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade NTE 3 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions, may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Position may be made permanent without further competition.

Duties

Serve as a Program Support Specialist for the U.S. Army Test Measurement and Diagnostic Activity (USATA) and is responsible for planning, programming, facilitating, coordinating, negotiating, and conducting a variety of activities. Collaborate and staffs all USATA Support Agreements (Memoranda of Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding, and DD Forms 1144) for highly specialized, overhaul or logistical support of aviation/missile weapon system/their associated items of equipment. Resolve questionable areas arising during development, documentation, staffing and after implementation. Coordinate requirements with other organizational elements.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
