You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the REQUISITION & TECHNICAL SUPPORT SECTION (TRF-523), LOGISTICS SUPPORT DIVISION (TRF-520), SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (TRF-500), TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will supply support services to meet scheduled Class TRIDENT Submarine refits refits.
You will control and monitor all material requests from time of receipt of requisitions until receipt of material.
You will review and process all material and services requisitions to insure accuracy and completeness of data.
You will perform related duties including quality control coordination tasks required to ensure the quality of products/services resulting from work performed.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Information Technology (IT) Level II position.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience controlling and monitoring material requests from time of receipt of requisitions until receipt of material.
Experience reviewing processes all material and service requisitions to insure timely receipt of materials.
Experience processing status, cancellations, re-submittals, and modifications.
Experience coordinating with personnel from issue control storage, shop stores and technical library to determine availability of possible substitute or replacement materials
Experience preparing messages, reports, and other written correspondence pertaining to operational and technical matters; Experience utilizing government purchase card.
Experience performing quality control coordination tasks required to ensure the quality of products/services resulting from work performed.
