You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Deployed Surface Electronic Warfare Systems & Decoys Program Management division of the Command department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
NT-05 is equivalent to the GS-13/14.
Duties
You will serve as Deputy Division Manager to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Deployed Surface Electronic Warfare Systems and Decoys Program Management Division.
You will assist the Division Manager in the administration of the division including personnel actions, managing staffing issues, internal budgeting, corporate data calls, and strategic planning.
You will provide oversight and guidance for Acquisition Category (ACAT) and non-ACAT programs.
You will provide periodic presentations on plans and strategies, contracts, task orders and technical instructions to the Division Manager.
You will make recommendations regarding plans, strategies and corrective actions.
You will be responsible for the Division's strategy planning and implementation.
You will be the process champion for Acquisition Management as a functional area.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project requirements to manage, plan and execute project schedule, strategies, or performance objectives for support of Acquisition Categories (ACAT) and non-ACAT programs.
