You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the PLANS, POLICIES, AND OPERATIONS (PP&O) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will assist the Naval Integration Section Head in providing service-level oversight of policies, capabilities, readiness, programmatic, operational and logistical issues for current and future ashore and afloat prepositioning plans and programs. You will provide critical, qualitative, analytical and systems support and serves as an expert in the development, oversight and execution of Service-Level policy related to prepositioning processes and programs. You will identify, assess, and report status and/or areas of concern related to prepositioning policies or programs' capability, programmatic, or operational issues to the Naval Integration Section head. You will perform program or project management duties that identify and track events relating to the prepositioning programs and processes. You will assist in developing and implementing standardized business processes to include defining and mapping processes and developing procedures and guides.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to perform and/or advise on work in the development of budgets that support prepositioning programs; ability to prepare/present information to senior leaders effectively; planning, managing, or working in prepositioning programs (Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF), Maritime Prepositioning Shipping (MPS), Marine Corps Prepositioning-Norway [MCPP-N]) or enterprise level logistics; and, and logistics planning and execution.
