Duties
Provides a broad range of administrative and clerical support for Division staff. Processes travel authorizations and vouchers; prepares documentation for guest researchers; assists in the on-boarding of new employees and associates; executes out-processing actions for departing employees and associates. Manages time and attendance; prepares procurement orders; serves as a bankcard holder to purchase equipment, supplies, manages files, serves as the principal office contact for phone calls and visitors. Manages calendars; prepares, reviews, and edits documents, reports, and correspondence; conducts training of new support staff; coordinates and plans administrative work.

- Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute.

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level (ZS-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as a principal office support assistant utilizing administrative/clerical skills and automated systems to process time and attendance; make travel and conference arrangements, manage multiple calendars, review correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy, respond to non-technical correspondence, process guest researcher agreements, compile and enter information into, and utilizing automated systems to complete tasks.
IN ADDITION- Applicants MUST be able to type at least 45 words per minute.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
