You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (APPSW/SYSTEMS ANALYSIS) in the Commander Fleet Readiness Centers, Dept of the Navy COMFLTREADCEN.
Duties
You will manage information technology (IT) program operations to assess the capabilities of the organization's systems.
You will maintain an up-to-date repository of current and future business processes, technologies, and their relationships in support of warfighter capabilities and their support systems.
You will assess the life cycle cost of information technology (IT) resources to determine long-term budgetary requirements.
You will define an information technology (IT) system project action plans and objectives to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
You will advise employees on information technology (IT) program goals and objectives.
You will perform a risk analysis of information technology (IT) systems to identify problems and recommend solutions.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Designing, developing, and fielding major Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications in order to optimize large-scale industrial business operations associated with systems management. 2) Identifying and applying corrective measures to remove project barriers and resource shortfalls identified by the NDMS organizational governance teams such as the MSG, & Agile Leadership Committee (ALC) and the Program Office. 3) Incorporating the Capability Maturity Model/Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMM/CMMI) in order to effectively carry out program management processes in support of activity mission accomplishment. 4) Managing the program staff, including providing staff training/career development, evaluating their performance, and initiating actions for promotions, reassignments, awards and disciplinary measures. 5) Communicating at all levels of government and industry, effectively maintaining working relationships with top officials of other services in order to resolve conflicting requirements and develop compromises which optimize desired results for the Navy.
