Duties
You will collect GIS data from Global Positioning System (GPS) devices, CAD files, coordinates, imagery and other GIS data.
You will maintain overall responsibility for the installation's GIS data and maps, stored and maintained in the Maintenance and Analysis environment and the GeoReadiness Explorer environment.
You will publish GIS data to the production database and other databases and locations.
You will update and modify feature attributes and/or layer assignments to meet emerging technical and policy requirements.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver`s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising stakeholders on alternative approaches in GIS data maintenance, QA/QC, and publishing procedures; 2) Applying GIS hardware, software, and applications to support an installation's GIS data products; 3) Providing technical and cartographic assistance to GIS data and system users.
