Duties
You will serve as the Logistic Management Specialist and Vendor/Fleet liaison for all logistics and maintenance issues with respect to the HARPOON program.
You will assist in development of qualitative and quantitative analysis to substantiate logistics support policies, procedures, and concepts as well as to identify support system requirements.
You will establish logistic support criteria for system specifications, solicitation packages, contracts, life-cycle cost estimates, and Total Ownership Cost.
You will prepare and manage budgets for cognizant programs and ensures system support during deployment, operation, and sustainment.
You will prepare and implement integrated logistics support (ILS) plans for DOD weapon/target acquisition and in-service systems/equipment.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 (GS-09/10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing integrated logistics support (ILS) plans for acquisitions; 2) Identifying logistics support policies, procedures, and concepts; 3) Preparing and managing budgets for programs; and 4) Establishing logistics support criteria for system specifications.
