You will serve as the OPNAV N2N6 Information Warfare Science & Technology Lead and Advisor at the GG-15 level providing technical expertise on highly complex and unique analysis, evaluation, interpretation and dissemination of information. This position is located in Arlington, VA in the DNI/DDNI OPNAV SUPPORT STAFF.
Duties
You will conduct analysis and inter-divisional N2N6 coordination in order to identify, shape and codify technology-based requirements necessary to drive Science and Technology investment and rapid prototyping efforts that advance Information Warfare.
You will analyze and assess technology solutions as they apply to meeting Information Warfare technology requirements and make related recommendations to N2N6 leadership in order to inform related investment decision making.
You will facilitate communication across N2N6 related to technology requirements development, solutions analysis and assessment and innovation.
You will ensure N2N6 staff input on all technology-related assessments and technology prioritization; prepare senior briefing materials and preparation for N2N6 leadership S and T decision-making and attendance at DON S and T fora.
You will represent N2N6 and advocate Information Warfare priorities and equities at related DON and government S and T venues.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as:
1) Managing or providing high-level over-watch and stewardship of Information Warfare Science and Technology portfolio in accordance with organizational standards;
2) Conducting analysis of Information Warfare programs, technologies and warfighting issues, and delivering results to support senior leader programmatic and investment decisions; 3) Advocating for the resourcing of IW priorities across the Naval Research and Development Enterprise (NRDE) or Defense Research Enterprise;
4) Maintaining advance technology horizon screening for Information Warfare;
5) Integrating Information Warfare data from multiple sources to produce non-standard and innovative assessments and recommendations;
6) Serving as an IW liaison with external S&T organizations and preparing/presenting briefings to high-level officials.
