You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the USMC, MARINE CORPS SYSTEMS COMMAND of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties
You will develop and conduct public affairs activities and information.
You will conduct the public affairs programs in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Principles of Information, and Navy and Marine Corps Public Affair Policy and doctrine.
You will work with others to accomplish complex programs, projects, plans, designs, executes and evaluates local and national campaigns and programs to inform and educate the general public through the new media.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a wide range of public affairs and communication taskings to include interacting with the public on behalf of an organization, liaising with public media, event coordination, advising senior management on public affairs policies and potential impacts of decision to public opinion, and creating communication products such as news articles, executive communications, and social media posts.
