Duties
You will recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.
You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets, implement internal controls, provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.
You will identify and arranges for employee developmental and training requirements.
You will oversee development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Development of program budgets to include budget exhibits, spend plans, and execution tracking; Leading and coordinating responses DON FM wide for leadership development programs, educational opportunities, and awards; Ensuring programs have measurable goals and objectives to demonstrate they are meeting budgeted objectives through analyzing data to assess the health of the program.
